Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) is a former American actress. Elson started her acting career when she was a child, and later as a model. The actress is most famous for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction series. Andrea was picked to portray Lynn Tanner in the popular ALF series ALF in 1986. Andrea was on the show for a number of years in various TV series and Movies of the week before she decided to retire from the entertainment industry. Andrea Elson's character, Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teen daughter was difficult for her. People published an article in where Elson outlined how hard it was for her to transition into a young girl and perform in an upcoming sitcom. In New York City in 1969 Elson was raised within the world of travel as her father was a salesman who traveled. When she reached 10 years old Andrea was already a traveler traveling to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was able to find an agent located in San Diego and won her audition for the first role. Fusco justified the statement with the statement "ALF has 285 years, therefore he's old enough to drink beer." As ALF's popularity grew with kids, NBC informed Fusco that the actor could not consume alcohol because the children were watching. This was not a good instance. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF could drink alcohol even when he was an adult. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. The cancer was treated successfully and was remissioned until 2019. Then, in Englewood New York, in the Lillian Booth Actors Home on the 26th of June in 2019, the actor aged 75 was diagnosed with cancer and passed away.
