Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991 is a Canadian actor, best known for portraying Felicity Smoak in The CW television series Arrow. Rickards was raised within British Columbia. In order to begin her career, Rickards began with musical theater and dancing with the intention of later introducing professional acting. After high school, she graduated earlier and enrolled in the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials program. The open call that followed, an agent was found for her. Alida Vocal Studio was her school of choice in Vancouver.
