Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. The actress grew up with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol as well as the romantic dramatic Precious. Born into a family of middle class living in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mom was a film buff and instilled a passion for movies in her daughter and also. Paula was active in the co-curricular activities of her school and particularly awed by dramatics. She loved performing in stage productions together with her fellow students. After performing in a variety of performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her occupation. In a summer program offered by the University of Southern California, she had a blast there. The program offered her a three-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. After she had completed the assignment in three months the first task was working in the production department of television documentaries. Following the completion of her project then she began putting together documentary films. Although she enjoyed her career, she still dreamed of being an actor. The path to acting began when she had minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then she has appeared in numerous film and television series.
